Sunrises and sunsets at Deer Park are spectacular. The morning sun rewards the early riser with clear blue skies. The setting sun rewards the viewer with reds, grays and all shades in the middle. Deer Park is located at the southern base of Cajon Pass, which is a narrow pass in the San Bernardino Mountains, that connects Southern California to Southern Nevada. We are on the route to Las Vegas.
The club property butts up against National Forest land which provides us with great views of flora and fauna. Wildlife seen over the past year have included a bear, bobcat, Mt lion, coyotes, and birds of all colors.
It’s only a 10 minute drive to the new Victoria Gardens Mall, and 15 minute drive to Ontario Mills outlet mall.
Walk into the Trail’s End Clubhouse and you will see photos of John Wayne, Cary Grant, and Jean Harlow, to mention a few celebrities. Did these and other movie notables ever visit Deer Park? Perhaps. The real answer may be hidden to protect anonymity. Nevertheless, last year the Trail’s End received a western theme and decorations followed accordingly. Complete with old photos, cowboy memorabilia and trees growing out of the walls.
The clubhouse is located immediately front and center as you enter Deer Park’s Gates. The patio, where a nice fire rages on cold nights, indicates the entrance to the clubhouse. The main dining room has a seating capacity of about 80. The building contains a poolroom, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
At the Trail’s End you can have good conversation and company, enjoy a good meal, a game of pool, a hot Jacuzzi and a refreshing shower, all under the same roof.
Among the amenities at Deer Park are two swimming pools as well as two hot tubs. there are tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts.
RV hookups, tent camping areas, picnic areas, patios and full time living spaces (both RV and mobile home) are available.
